About George
George earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Kansas in 1968. He earned both his master’s degree in business administration and his JD degree from the University of Kansas in 1972. He was admitted to the Kansas Bar by the U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit, and the U.S. Tax Court in 1972.
Throughout his storied career, George has remained active in the Salina community. He has served as president of Salina Regional Health Foundation, the Salina YMCA, United Way of Salina, the Salina Presbyterian Manor Foundation, Salina Country Club, and Sunflower Adult Care Center. He has also served on the boards for Saint John’s Hospital, Saint Mary’s School Board, Smoot Charitable Foundation, Verla Jocelyn Charitable Foundation, and the Salina Family YMCA Foundation.
